Wallace - Mrs. Ura Hamm, 83, of Wallace, died at 9 a.m. yesterday, June 29, 1969 at the home of a son, Earl at Mundelein, Illinois, where she was visiting. Born Jan 1, 1896, in Fountain County, east of Wallace, she was the daughter of Jacob & Barbara E. Basham Bowman. She was married September 9, 1903 to Everett Hamm, who died in 1935. She was educated in township schools and was a member of the Wallace Christian Church, Ladies Aid, Order of Eastern Star Chapter 4115 and Cabalistic Club. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Thelma Summers near Wallace, her son of Mundelein, a half sister, Mrs. Zula Livengood of Wallace & 4 grandsons. She also was preceded in death by a son, Virgil; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Keller and two brothers, Talbert & Everet. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Thomas Funeral Home, Waynetown. Rev. John Servies and Rev. JC DeNeal will officiate. Burial in Wallace Lutheran Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home. Friends will be received after 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. -- br
